Description

Guiding students of design and architecture in their final year research dissertation, from refining the topic (different from the 'title') of their inquiry, to key research questions, to the particular process of inquiry (taking one chosen method from methodologies) that can culminate in the dissertation that can convey the thinking / line of inquiry.

Discussions typically last for an hour on the purpose, and maybe some more time on related life-aspects that can inspire or inform the researcher. Total hours would be as required by the institution and the depth of the dissertation product desired.

Guidance would be only in the areas of my strength such as: Designers/Buildings/materials used of the History of Architecture, Heritage conservation policy in India, Social & Political ideologies/theories affecting architecture/design, Climate Change, Political Economy, Sustainability aspects, Construction Permits and Building Regulations, etc.
