The Waves Break
Description
The Waves Break
The waves break incessantly upon the cliff
As if they can surmount or erode in a day
What stands tall, defiant and ever-sure
Gulls screech, winds blow, the ocean heaves
One holds one's wits and breathes deep
Is the stronger true or the louder real?
Or even sustained effort pointless
As thoughts rally against Reality
To know that may be one shall pass
But before that, understand the scheme
Everything
Or the Truth of the Present
Or Nothing
