Political Economy for Architects

Description

Introducing the idea of political economy to architects / urban designers, so they can see the act of building, in addition to being a creative / technological act, as also a part of a larger system in time and evolution of society. Undoubtedbly central would be ideas of Karl Marx, who though he did not talk about the city or building directly, provides perhaps the strongest narrative for understanding society as a play of forces, productive and controlling.
